Description
A pair of big baby birds (juvenile great egrets) wait patiently for one of their parents to return with a meal for them during the winter breeding months in Southwest Florida. Bird rookeries in Florida are at capacity in the winter months with many species choosing this premier destination to raise their young broods. Plenty of fish, sunshine, and choice breeding areas make Florida a great place if you are into bird watching and/or bird photography.
